When To Go
Costa Rica has a “Dry Season” from December to April every year. This is the busiest time to visit, but also you are nearly guaranteed sunshine and good weather. This is also the most expensive time to visit.
For cheaper prices and greener scenery, travel during the wet season from May to November. Rain is common during this time so people are less likely to visit, but hey, it’s a rain forest! Rain mostly occurs in the afternoons, so be ready for that, but prices can be less than half of what they are the rest of the year.
Prices
If you are flying Delta, which you should, prices around December are around 1000 dollars per person. In May these prices are 700 dollars or less.
For your hotels for 3 days, you are looking at between 300 and 1000 dollars depending on how bougie you want to stay.
